August 27, 201312 yr Honestly I have been almost exclusively flying the NGX since its release. Most other aircraft just didn't cut it anymore because PMDG raised the bar so high. I have done the odd flight with the Queen or the VRS FA-18E. As the T7 release day approaches I am beginning to worry that the HGS has spoiled me. All my landings are done with the HGS and now I am beginning to worry that my landings are going to need a lot of practice. LOL. The problems of the simmer, heh. Anyway what are your thoughts? Are you worried that your flying skills have degraded because of the HGS? Mike Keigley
August 27, 201312 yr My flying skills have not changed between the HGS and no HGS (always good) The NGX and the T7 are different enough aircraft that even if it has spoiled you. You will have bigger problems. I personally only use the HGS for CatIII landings, the trick is though, you watch for those little "+'s" (Signal Flare Mode) and listen to the callout that starts with them i think it's 50... So now without the HGS start your flare when you here "50"! - - Tommy - -
