I have occasions where pressing the APP button will not activate the ILS. Sometimes, when the LOC is already activated, pressing APP does not light up and the glide slope is not intercepted. Must be something set wrong in the flight controls, but don't know what.   Anyone?

 

Both nav radio's set to the right freq? Are you at the correct altitude to intercept? Know how to read the indicators on the pfd?
