  1. I can't seem to get a mini panel to come up using the 'w' function.
  2. If it was my panel.cfg messed up -- I uninstalled and reinstalled. The FS2crew items are in the panel.cfg now, but I still can't get the FS2crew panel to appear.
  3. yes - nothing
  4. there is no fs2crew in the panel.cfg file. What do you suggest I do? Re-install? Thanks
  5. I have tried assigning several different keys to the autofeather function in the fsx , none produces fs2crew. Right clicking on fsx.exe does not produce a compatability tab. Again, there is no fs2crew in the views/instrument panel in fsx
  6. Just recently purchased the 777 version and am trying to get the button version to work. I cannot get the program to give me the main panel. The tips on the config manager seem to pertain to the voice version. I have tried to assign the function to several keys with no results. I don't understand the fsuipc assignment logic. There is no mention of the program in the FSX views folder.
  7. sorry, I was referring to the co-pilot actions, guess I don't have it.
  8. I cannot get any action on the pmdg 777 with fs2crew. There is nothing on the panel to activate it. Am I missing something?
  9. Can someone tell me what I did to produce this display?

I am having trouble in the setup procedure. I give it my fsx drive (G), but it just says 'open'. If I click OK, it does nothing, when I click on validate it does nothing - it will not run. Obviously I am doing something wrong. What is it?

I have tried, following the directions, several times and always get to an order page, not requesting a repeat order. If you could send me the 777 basic and the 737 basic I would sure appreciate it. Gerald Musselman

When I click on more details, it returns the normal order form, no url

I lost my hard disk and had to start from scratch. I cannot find the pmdg installation files for the 777 and the 737xg
  14. I have tried to use xplane, but it is soooo annoying - what with the hat switch panning (not) and most of all, the everything dark problem. I haven't flown it lately, but have the new update installed now and would appreciate guidance on getting some more light on the subject. Thanks in advance

A few times, I have accidentally tripped off the auto pilot. Normally not a problem, but in the 777, I cannot turn it back on. The AP button will take no action. Is there something unique about this aircraft in that regard?
  16. The panel is way too dark - and, don't see a flood light switch, or even panel light switch.
  17. I can't even find the fd/ap switch

Thanks guys, I'll check the throttles. I don't know how to over-ride the fms with the throttles, I depend on the fms to control power in vnav.

I have been having continual problems with the 777 FMS (and 737 also). The FMS cannot seem to command the auto-pilot to properly conduct the descent while on STARs. Yesterday going in to LAX, when the TOD was met, the aircraft only started (and maintained) a 500 fpm descent. The proper rate of descent to abide correctly by the STAR restrictions would have been 1800-2000 fpm. Of course, it is possible to manually enter the descent rate, but it should not be necessary. The Level D 767 has almost the identical FMS and it handles the STAR configurations properly. Is there some other input I need to make to allow the FMS to work properly?

  21. I ran the 'repair' option and it fixed it. You shouldn't assume people are all crooks.
  22. 737-8 nx
  23. The porpoising I am experiencing is in level cruise flight
  24. I am experiencing quite noticeable porpoising on my flights in the 737. Anyone?

Yesterday, as I climbed out of DFW for LAX, my PFD and MFD both started going crazy - hard to describe, but the lines on the two screens were all over the place and jittering at a high rate of speed. Anyone have this happen?
