FSX Contrails Texture Missing?

Featured Replies

Hi friends,

Today I just noticed that in my FSX, the contrails are missing textures. I'm using DX10 so the default "light blue" texture with the FSX logo on it is called out to replace the missing texture. Does anyone know which texture is actually missing, so I can pull out the file from my laptop which has another install of FSX.

Thanks,

Zicheng

I have DX10 Preview enabled and do not see this issue.  I do see the FSX logo occasionally but just for a brief second as the textures are being loaded.

Best regards,

Jim

Jim,

Thanks for the reply. It is a confirmed texture missing. I solved the problem by coping and overwriting the whole effects folder from my P3D. If DX10 is not enabled, the kind of missing texture will show up as pitch dark.

Thanks,

Zicheng
