September 3, 201312 yr Afternoon, Quick question. What is the preferred precision approach method for the NGX? ILS CAT II/III or RNP (GPS)? Can the NGX perform a LAND 3 AUTOLAND on a strictly GPS approach or does it require ILS for the dual channel capability? Trying to choose wisely.
September 3, 201312 yr Cat 3 for ILS only I bet FSX could do it though hehe And to be technical only an ILS is a precision approach, at least from an instrument view. Even an RNAV apch with LPV mins is technically still non precision. I bet that will change soon though.
