Beta Testers Time Compression (AS2012)

Hi there,

first of all I have to give a huge thumbs up to all beta testers, you guys didn't oversee a thing - great job and thanks for letting us enjoy it!!

I have a quick question regarding AS2012 settings as it relates to time compression (this feature singlehandedly saved my marriage btw ;-)

I'm currently flying from KJFK to EDDL and time compression slows down quite frequently, even on straight line flight when AS2012 updates the upper winds apparently. I usually load the same flightplan in AS2012 and was just wondering if any of the testers has any recommendations to make this as smooth as possible.

I'm currently using the CHR button to activate time compression, maybe activating it manually via FSX menu will make it stay on longer? Don't get me wrong, the most important part is smoothness and that was most definitely achieved, I'm just trying a way to make the AS2012 updates go smoother so time compression won't have to slow down too often.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

Pete

Use DWC, or FSUIPC's wind smoothing.

The plane HAS to slow the accel down at any time the sim is throwing insane things at it.  It's the only way it can cope, and it's the only way they could get it to behave predictably.
