I have a Dell 2350 pc with a 2GHz processor, 512Mb of memory, standard Intel Extreme Graphics, and Nokia 445Xav video set at 1024 by 768 and running at 75Hz.This normally gives 14-16FPS with UK VFR scenery and terrain (19m mesh) but no AI. Yes, I know it's a bit slow but then so am I!FSAutostart reports recovering 93Mb of memory but there is no noticable improvement in frame rates. I deduce that something else is limiting the frame rate. I think it's probably the video but would like advice on this before I think about upgrades. Thanks in advance.

"Intel Extreme Graphics" are anything but! That's your problem for sure. Get one of the new mainstream cards like a GeForce 6600GT or a Radeon X700 and you'll see your performance and image quality go through the roof by comparison...
