Flightplanner Error--- please help

Featured Replies

Hey,I cannot load, create or save any flightplans anymore sice I installed the MS FS9 patch.I have attached a screenshot. Well, it's in German. It says that it cannot read the file. When I press ok, I get a CTD.Does anyone have a idea or any help???

Regards, Torben Hadler

Torben,It must be the German version that is involved.I have the US version and everything works fine after the patch.Maybe Microsoft has the answer.Roger

First, ensure you download the correct FS9.1 Update using the language of the default FS9.0.Second, use the FS9UpdateUninstall.exe to uninstall the update. Delete the Flight Simulator 9BACKUP folder. Restart the flight simulator, let it stablize and see if the problem is corrected. If not, ensure you have the correct My DocumentsFlight Simulator Files folder in the proper location for your computer's OS:For Win98/ME: C:My DocumentsFlight Simulator FilesFor Win2K/XP: Documents and SettingsUSER_NAMEMy DocumentsFlight Simulator Files where drive:=OS drive and USER_NAME=the current user's nameIf so, reinstall the correct language update. Restart the flight simulator, let it stabilize and see if the problem is corrected.W. Sieffert
