Thanks everyone.  I did click on allot of buttons and it kept going off.  I found the option and turned it off, but it kept going.  I think it is off now as I flew yesterday from Ontario, California to Honolulu, Hawaii and it never went off.  The fact that it never turned off was the reason I posted it here.  Sorry for the extra post on this subject.

Basically any button on the MCP will turn it off, along with any radio tuning change. If that didn't turn it off, then it might be related to a bug back in the initial release. A few major updates were released between then and now, so if you haven't updated since September of 2 years ago, you should head back to your account on our website, go to View Previous Orders, find your 777 order and re-download the latest installer
