Unusual Nav. Display behavior in PLN mode

I was preparing my arrival at MMMZ with the 777F today and noticed something unexpected. I was reviewing the approach route on the Navigation Display in PLN mode. It was centered on a waypoint on LEGS page two, but whenever I entered either a speed or altitude restriction, I noticed that the ND would center on the first active waypoint. If I entered a restriction and then erased it, the ND would return to the waypoint I was originally looking at, but if I executed the change, the ND would stay centered on the first active waypoint. I wasn't able to find anything in the manuals regarding this issue. Any ideas?
