Logo lights not working

Featured Replies

So I flew my first night flight and noticed my logo lights not working. Anyone has an idea if this is included in a future fix?

Logo lights work fine, need more information. When were they not working?

They didn't work through out the entire flight. Every other light works just fine.

What aircraft, what livery? Do you have all of the FSX settings correct? Screenshot of the panels would be helpful.

In the introduction documentation it's mentioned that the T7 automatically switches off certain systems and items to route electircal power to where it's really needed. If you're on the ground, the LOGO lights is one of the prime candidates to be switched off if you don't have a sufficient power supply (running on the APU, for example). The T7 is a smart lady, and does all this for you instead of having you monitor electrical draw and eventually start to blow fuses if things aren't done correctly.

If you're mid-air with both generators running without problems, your LOGO lights should however stay on, as far as I know.

Did just that and still doesn't work.  Here are pictures showing my current situation.

Ok. Looks like they should be working. Did you start from a specific panel state? Is this your first leg? Not at my PC but are you sure you have your FSX display parameters correct?

Can you elaborate on FSX display parameters? My NGX works fine with the same setup.

Jakub Wesolowski

Special effects detail is high and advanced animations. Could you answer the other questions? Also did you just start the engines?

Engines are started and APU turned off.  All my FSX display settings are on highest possible setting.  DX10 preview turned off, lens flare turned off, light bloom turned off, Advanced animationed turned ON, Filtering is set to Anisotropic, fps limit set to 30.

Ok still need these questions answered. Did you start from a specific panel state? Is this your first leg?

If you just started the engines you may need to wait a bit for the electrical system to complete its configuration.

Started from a saved panel state.  When I initially purchased the bird, I set the panel to my own preference so the engines are not turned on at the gate.  Power was always connected so as not to run IRS allignment at each start up.

Jakub Wesolowski

Ok, startup without the panel state and see if they are working. If they do then we have to start with your panel state setup to see what causing this.

So I loaded the '777 SHORT' panel state. Turned her on and the light lit up like a christmas tree.  Wonder what might have caused it.  I'll just set 777 SHORT as my default panel state when I load her on start up.

Jakub Wesolowski

I suggest opening a ticket with PMDG support and sending them your panel state. They can troubleshoot what the issue was or if there is a bug somewhere.
