Lost Default Panel State

Featured Replies

Hi

I have just tried to do the Tutorial again but can't find the 'Default Panel' state (engines running) in the CDU. I checked in the Panel State folder and I must have inadvertently deleted it somehow - strange !!

I know I could start the engines and resave it, but would like the original file as saved by PMDG. Would somebody mind PM'ing me and send me a copy of this panel state file please.

Thanks

Glen

We didn't include a "Default" file with this. Will with an update after some of the panel state issues are sorted out.

How did I get it to load with the engines running for the tutorial - sorry a bit confused ?

Same here. I don't have much time to learn the ac with a wee baby to look after so apologies if there is info in the manual.

I also loaded panel state short, and now want to do the tutorial flight again, but can't as there is no panel state for engines running.

On another note, I loaded short, done some circuits around Memphis withe the FedEx F, but I can not see the nav lights or strobes and the default atc menus won't work. Is this the panel state problem that has been mentioned? I searched but can't find any info.

Guys,

The default state is nothing more than how the airplane loads up by default from Free Flight. Just make sure you don't have a startup state saved in the FMC and then reload FSX, it'll come up with the engines running.
