September 8, 201312 yr I now firmly believe something is wrong with the 777 on my computer. I'm having several issues, but one that seems to be the most show-stopping for me is the fact that I cannot see the lights illuminate the ground in front of me from the VC. 1) Lights illuminate the ground in FSX is set 2) NGX lights and default a/c are OK 3) I'm 100% certain the lights in 777 were off. They are visible on the a/c in the external view, just don't illuminate the ground (in VC and in the external view). I don't care about strobes/etc if they don't, but I fly at night a lot and this is important to me. Any suggestions what to check? [ totally offtopic, I also have major throttle issues and no... I'm not using FSUIPC, but I'm still researching whether this is my problem, or an issue with the installation ] Marko Milivojević

September 8, 201312 yr Author Works perfectly in the NGX, but as I said, throttle thing is not a major concern now. I don't have enough data for it. Lights are important at night. I just checked the "Advanced Animations" and indeed I had that turned off. Turning that option on did indeed resolve the issue! Thank you very much. Disclaimer: I have a very conservative approach to eye candy and I had this option turned off in an attempt to squeeze few more FPS from my machine. Hopefully the impact of turning it on will be minimal. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I do have to apologize for wasting your time, as this was clearly user problem. I had "Advanced Animations" option in my FSX turned off. Turning it on resolved the issue. Unfortunately, the root cause here is that I skipped reading the Introduction Manual's FSX tuning part, since I assumed it was mostly the same information as the one for the NGX, which I followed to the letter. Lesson learned and back to reading. Marko Milivojević
