September 8, 201312 yr Commercial Member Hello all, Similar to the NGX (up until the most recent patch), I'm experiencing an odd EGT behavior during engine start. Just as the start cycle is ending: starter switch clicks off, red EGT line disappears, and EGT is stabilizing, the EGT will jump up approximately 60 degrees instantaneously. This is regardless of engine. For instance, after initial EGT rise, EGT spools back to 390 in an example, then pops right up to approximately 450 and remains there. Anyone have any insight to this?
