It is less than a week that T7 has been released and I have been enjoying this lovely machine since then. I am surprised that looking at the first pages of this forum the majority of the topics are related to what are supposed to be inherent flaws of the product...I say "supposed" because I do not dispute that some people may have really found bugs that have been missed during the pre-release testing of the aircraft, but I suspect many of those "flaws" come from people not having read the manual or having their hardware/software system not properly tuned.

Yes, certainly there are bugs which will be fixed in future service packs (please do not compare it with the NGX which is now a fully mature product...), but in my opinion all we have to say now is:

 

"Thanks PMDG for delivering another outstanding product ..!!".

The T7 is even more complex in parts than the MD11, a piece of development even above the NGX - and it doesn't cause any OOMs or poor frame rates on its own!

 

The T7 intro doc is state-of-the-art, including observations and discussions from this very forum (AVSIM ...) which got shared/posted here only a couple of weeks/months ago - for example regarding OOMs with large photo scenery areas active in the scenery library.

 

The intro doc and the ops centre combined are worth the additional price over the NGX already - not to mention additional features of the T7 aircraft like ground operations and auto time acceleration.
