September 11, 201312 yr Recently purchased a national geographic with 100 places you need to visit in your lifetime. Thought I would do something fun and fly to each one and my second stop along the journey is titled "the road less travelled" and this features the North Umpqua River up to Crater Lake in Oregon. The scenery was gorgeous and it is truly a road less travelled. Enjoy Our journey begins on the south side of Crater Lake on a gorgeous evening as we head west we are met with a lush forest and a gorgeous sunset finally our plane settles at Prospect State (64S) for the night
