September 12, 201312 yr I know I have seen this addressed somewhere before, but can't find it. when using MCE (lite version) with FSX, whenever I change views, when I return to the cockpit, I get numerous flickers of the screen (2-4) before everything goes to normal. Everything else works great. I beleive one fix was to go out of full screen mode, but that takes away from the realism and messes with my tripple screen display. Any other fix for this? Does the full version have the same issue? FSX MCE lite Windows XP SP3 Dual core AMD 6000 NVIDIA 8800 GTX

That way, the user interface won't draw at all. You only need the UI every now and then merely to setup your preferences. Once you're running the sim in full screen mode, you can forget about it. What matters is the speech reco staying active. The Ultimate edition has a few options added since it's constantly updated. You can set the UI to automatically start to the tray You can have the UI displayed, but not drawing when the sim is in full screen mode However, in your case it's only worth considering the Ultimate edition if you are flying one or two of the 20+ complex aircraft MCE fully supports, or want voice control for Radar Contact or PFE ATC. It doesn't minimize to tray until you stop clicking the UI for about 45 seconds. After that it will remain in the tray. Gerald R https://www.multicrewxp.com
