I am Unable to connect multiplayer session.

Is it possible the cause of my problem is windows 8 ?

Any body have this trouble?

I thought Microsoft had disbanded it?

It's only the GameSpy system that has been abandoned by Microsoft; multiplayer sessions are still available using alternative methods. Here are a few links which might assist you in getting going - I can't vouch for how hard/easy the process is, as I only use VatSim for my online flying; but these links might give you a few ideas.
