September 15, 201312 yr I know it only takes a few minutes to shut MCE down and restart it, but if it is an easy matter to add a reset button, then I believe it's a worthwhile & reasonable item for the wishlist I generally fly either a light aircraft using Air Hauler for my cargo business and using native ATC; or a passenger airliner using FS Captain and RC4. So here's my thinking: 1) I understand there are two possible voice recognition databases, one for GA and one for commercial, & MCE chooses the appropriate one at the start of the session depending on the callsign used. 2) I have my system set up so that I can just turn the default ATC volume up and use that (for GA/VFR flights), or turn the ATC volume down and use RC4 (for IFR/commercial runs), but of course I need to tell MCE to run native or RC4. 3) I find (after some good advice in another post) that it's best to start MCE after the aircraft is sitting at the gate so that it works correctly with GSX ground services (i.e. I then don't run over the ground crew) So, if I finish a GA flight and decide to hop into my 737, I need to shut down MCE and restart it, which takes a few minutes. Considering these points, is there any way of introducing a reset button that would effectively 're-activate' MCE as if it is the start of a fresh session, without doing a full close/open of the program? regards Keith
September 15, 201312 yr Sorry if this is not what you're looking for but have you tried to mouse right click on the UI and clicked on the "redetect the current aircraft" option ? After switching from one aircraft to an other of course. Hope this help.
