Background Noise

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

I'm just about to start tearing my hair out, lol!

Problem is that when I'm on VATSIM, I can't hear the ATCs over the noise of the 737NGX and the airport envirnonment noise.

I know it's probable that my setting up is at fault, but what I would really like to do is have all the background sounds through the speakers and just the FS2Crew and VATSIM through the headphones.  At the moment, the engine noise and general airport noise just drowns everything else out!

Any advice in setting up my audio to achieve this would be very welcome.

Many thanks

You would have to change a setting on your sound card

If your settings already allow two outputs then just change FSX to play through the speakers

then change VATSIM, TeamSpeak & FS2Crew to come out your headphones

This is how I have my setup

If you have troubles please reply and I will try to help
