How do you hide the Yoke?

Featured Replies

In reading through the recent A2A C172 thread I noticed that a few folks mentioned they like to hide the pilot side yoke in the VCs for the planes they fly. How is that done?

Thx,

Al

On the 2D panel, Shift&F3, there are two yoke clickspots to remove/replace either the left or right yoke(s). There well be another way but I know this way works!

What Lyn said. The other method is to click on where the yoke is attached to the panel!

I almost wanted to say this is more realistic because you don't have to use a popup window for it (which I never like to do in FSX), but luckily I realised in time that removing the yoke is of course never done in real life... :P I have it moved by default nonetheless because there is a limit to how much realism I want. I like to see all knobs on the panel and I have a 'yoke' before me already so I am fine without the yoke in the VC.

I think I was not clear in my original post. I would like to remove/hide the VC pilot side yoke in some of the default FSX a/c (like the C172, Mooney Bravo and Beech Baron). I'm guessing the above suggestions, which I appreciate, are just for A2A a/c?

Thx,

Al

Ah, LOL, yes, that is an A2A feature. ^_^ Some other addon planes have the same option. Afaik you can't simply remove them from the default planes.

That's what I was afraid of -- thanks for the info.
