November 23, 200421 yr I just got my new CH Products Fighterstick USB. Another great piece of hardware however I am having one particular problem in FS2004. There is a problem with the elevator control. If I pull the stick all the way back or push it all the way forward, the elevator will either move up or down to its maximum point of extension and then it will immediately jump back to its normal centered position. Anyone have any idea as to what's going on and how this can be remedied? Thank you.
November 23, 200421 yr This sounds like you have another controller (yoke?) connected to the same axis that is fighting for control of it. Go into the Controllers settings and verify that only one device is assigned to your elevator control.Dave Blevins System: Asus P8Z68 Deluxe/Gen3 mobo *** i7 2700K @ 5gHz w/ Corsair H80 cooler NVidia GTX 570 OC *** 8 GB 1600 Corsair Vengeance DRAM *** CoolerMaster HAF X case System overclocked and tuned for FSX by fs-gs.com Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog stick/throttle & CH Products Pro Pedals Various GoFlight panels *** PFC avionics stack

It did seem that there was an axis conflict in fs2004. What was strange was that every time I changed the assignments in fs2004 they simply would not get saved. It kept defaulting to the wrong device for some reason. So I unplugged the throttle and then plugged it back in. Works great now. Thanks again.
November 23, 200421 yr Author What do you think about the stick? My force feedback joystick is starting to get worn and I would like to complement it with a non force feedback to increase my gunnery skill in IL 2. I am a leftie so I am a bit limited to Saitek and the Pilot stick or whatever the ambivalent CH joystick was named. It
