September 20, 201312 yr Just 2 small questions. 1: I did a polar flight ACA15 yesterday, tried to enter the north pole into my FMC fix page for reference. I tried N90E0; N9000.0E00000.0; N90, no help... So I used E89W001 instead... Does anyone know how to actually put the polar coordinate into the FMC? 2: I saw several blue dash rings in the ND of some 777 pictures. Is it called the energy management ring at descent phase? How do I turn it on in my 777? Thank you! Johnson Poon
September 20, 201312 yr If it doesn't work with coordinates, you should be able to enter them with NPOLE and SPOLE. At least with Aerosoft NavData Pro installed - don't know if this also works with Navigraph - when i still was using their data - approx. one year ago - it worked too. Chris Jilli
September 21, 201312 yr I was able to enter N90W000 and have it display (it always has to be NxxWxxx, need all the digits) For the second thing, you have to go to the VNAV Descent page, click Offpath Descent, enter the fix and restriction if it isn't there already, then hit 6R "Display on" Steve Caffey
