Anyone using the GF TQ6?  Throttles & reversers working fine, but trying to set the flaps and spoilers is no joy.  I'm using registered FSUIPC, latest version.  I've tried assigning the levers in GF config both ways, no action and the appropriate action.  The levers have a mind of the own.  I know how to set up the detents.  My other ac work fine, including the NGX.  I've been using the keyboard since I got the T7 and have been programming my controls as I go along.  Don't know  if this is FSUIPC, Goflight, or PMDG.  I'm going to post o those forums as well.  They are not selected in FSX, but are enabled.

Hi,

 

First clear all flaps and spoiler settings in the GF Config file.  Do not assign anything.

 

Open FSUIPC and select Axis Assignments

Left click Rescan

Cycle Spoiler lever through full range - you should see the numbers change, if not click rescan again and recycle.

Select under type of action required - Send direct to FSUIPC Calibration

Select Joystick Calibration page

Go to page 6 - Trim, Spoilers and flaps

Check SET

Cycle Spoiler Lever through range

(you should see three boxes with the following numbers in there, -16380, -512, 16380, or approx.  Also under the middle number is a box that has -512 and Slope)

CHECK - REV

 

Do the same for the Flaps Lever and you should get 2 boxes not 3.  Box 1 should show 0 and the second box should show 16380 approx. and in between these boxes should be No Centre.

 

There is a Flap Detail box and it should show - Current Aircraft.

 

Look for - No. of Detents - should be equal to T7 flap detents and there should be a 4 digit number in the Incr box, bottom right hand side.

Forgot to mention you also have to unassign flaps and spoilers in FSX Controls under GF TQ.

Thanks Rob, Its been a while that I've had to screw around so much to get a plane working with my hardware. Got the spoiler and flap lever to behave, but I cannot set the detents on either lever, but at least I can use them instead of the keyboard.
