I only noticed this today. It's part of the aileron. In this pic, I have full left deflection to show that when the aileron goes up, this part of it comes down under the wing. I know it's not a bug or anything like that, but I am curios to know what it's purpose is in being there.

Hi,

It seems to be the Aileron Balance weight, to prevent fluttering in case of hydraulic power loss.

Can someone confirm that?
