Is there a way to enter into the GPS a destination waypoint by long/lat coordinates only, no airport or nav aid ? Cannot get into the "position" sub-window of the "direct-to" window...

Not directly in the default GPS but there is a way.....

 

Create a 'direct to' flight plan in FSX then on the map page showing the route, grab the course line with your mouse and drag it to where you want to go, it will create a waypoint there.

This is what I do Jay :smile: but what to do if you fly from and back to a forsaken navaid-less strip in the australian outback (with a dead reckoning expertise lacking somewhat a great deal :Whistle: )
