A DX10 Checkride...

Recommended Posts

If you have the following:

1.DX10 Fixer

2.Orbx's FSX Global

3.UTX

4.A system that can handle everything turned on, and at the highest setting

-------------------------------------------

Then I recommend a Dusk flight, taking off from KMRB, and then just find the Potomac River,  head North or South along its course. Your choice..  UTX provides a lot of eye candy in the form of bridges that span the roads and highways that interact with the river.  You will be flying along and through parts of the Appalachian Mountains. The Bloom effect is stunning for this region as Dusk descends.  Run in Spot View and adjust your view downward, above the plane...and enjoy the flight.  This is FSX at its best....

...back to it....

I'm guessing it's great.  I live in Bethesda, MD and I've been running short dusk test flights out of College Park.  A slightly different part of the Potomac but I get some of the same effect as you're describing.  Am still tuning but as soon as I get time for a longer flight I'll head up river and check it out.
