Oh My! Between the T7 & FTXG it's hard to stop!

Making comparisons will fry your brain - and mine too if I do it. Once I have either FSXG or GEX comparisons will stop for me and either will be miles better than the default stuff so I'm not too bothered.

RC4 has no impact on FS but FS can impact on RC4 if there's a lot of traffic to cope with. I've run it on a separate PC for years so someone who runs it on the same PC as FS is probably a better judge.
