Surely this has been covered already probably many times, but I could not figure out exactly how to word my search (nor Topic Title for this post). I thought I had this figured out at one time, but am suffering from a senior moment I fear.

 

Why sometimes in Autopilots do altitude settings only advance or decrease by thousands rather than hundreds, and heading settings only by tens rather than units? (I.e. Altitude 1,000, 2,000, 3,000 and will not adjust as 1,100, 1,200, 1,300 etc. and heading settings only as 0, 10, 20 etc. rather than 0,1,2 etc.?

It could be a faulty gauge. Open your panel.cfg and comment out each one, one by one, and test it till you track it down. Works for me!
