November 27, 200421 yr I have recently been trying to create banks of fog using the excellent FSW2004 but have encountered some problems (See pics 1 and 2). I was using the fswhifps 32 bit 256x256 textures with 'render to texture' off. I had 4 layers of cloud, the lowest being Stratus 4/8 coverage, base 0 feet, tops 2500 feet. Sight distance was 60 miles, cloud draw distance 50 miles, 3d cloud percentage 100, cloud coverage density was maximum. When I raised the lower cloud layer to 1000 feet base, 3500 tops the result was as in picture 3 which I'm sure you will agree is very realistic, but of course that didn't give me any cloud (fog) on the ground. What am I doing wrong? any help appreciated.Pete
