I've done it.

I've purchased a Seagate hybrid 3.5" desktop SSHD 1Tb drive for FS9 ... yes FS2004!

Well I've acquired over 700gig of stuff over the ten years!

Loading time of the sim is in excess of 8 minutes ... too long.

Once it opens everything is fine. Modern hardware easily copes with this 2003 program.

I wanted to speed up loading AND have CAPACITY at a REASONABLE price ... $A119 plus shipping.

Cheapest 750 gig SSD here in Australia is $600 (Samsung Evo)

No brainer.

I'll let you know my experience ... it's not a sexy solution but somehow t think I'm not Robinson Crusoe.
