Today while i was trying to learn the T7 i opened RAT and pressed it, it moved to the unlocked position, when i tried to press it back to it's normal position it didn't work, after engine start the press button appeared, but again pressing it didn't help. i got the RAT unlocked message on the upper EICAS. is that a normal behavior? how can i lock it back to normal? cheers.

If it's modelled like in the LD767. you can't - It's stowed by the ground crew after landing.

Use the Maintenance options in the CDU.

And yes, it is normal behavior, the RAT will not stow itself, maintenance has to do it.

And the captain, to take the passengers minds off the loss of all cabin power, announces:

"We have deployed the RAT."
