I run at 1280x1024x32 on a CRT. I get better 3D illusions from the ground texture when flying at 1280x1024 (at least to my eyes). My ATI card seems to run 1280x1024 at the same FPS as 1280x960 in FS9.

1280x1024, 32 bit.Dramatic improvement in quality from 1024/32 bit. 1280x1024 gets rid of the "step" effect, with AA enabled that is.

My major problem recently has been that the sim freezes about 3 or 4 minutes into a flight, and stays 'video' frozen for up to 10 seconds (sound continues on in the background normally).I firmly believe that it's my video drivers. the 66.93's have even been reported to cause others playing HL2 to experience random CTD's (only happened to me once last Friday).I've gone back to the 61.77's - let see if it makes any diffrence...Scott
