I'm currently using Windows 8. I have a  Windows 7 Home Premium Disc right here on my shelve. How difficult would it be to change my Operating system ? Have a WD External Hard Drive , would I need to do anything with that ? Thanks

Backup all your data and install win7 using all disc. Boot from the cd.

As long as it's 64bit Win 7 you'll be alright.
