October 6, 201312 yr Greetings all, I was trying to do a flight, but was having problems starting the APU. I started from the "short" state (actually, it was a modified short state....I changed a few things for my tastes. Among those changes was to start with the GPUs connected, and the APU off.). This change shouldn't have affected anything, I would hope. However, I cannot start the APU, even after waiting for a while. Here are some screen shots....Any ideas what happened, or is this part of the APU bug that is already known? Many thanks. Ron Priever
October 6, 201312 yr And how long did you wait? After turning the start switch there's a time lag until the APU is starting. Then there's a lag until it's fully up and running. No earlier will the electric system "switch over". You can monitor the APU start in the STAT display, upselected on the DSP. What happened to AVSIM

I had read your post before you modified it (with the link), and recalled shutting down the APU and saving the state. Obviously, I didn't wait long enough for the APU to totally shut down. I've since corrected it, tested it, everything is fine. Many thanks. Ron Priever
