Silly me. Have tweaked something and now in all 2D panels when I use the hat switch left and right on the stick, the view outside the cockpit pans back and forth, i.e. the scenery moves and I see in different directions out the windscreen whereas before I would normally see the left and right side 2D panels. Have re-set (twice) fs9.cfg file under "graphics" the line that says "see self_etc" = 1 but problem still there. Also notice I have two fs9.cfg files (one is text doc). Is there any other view option or something anyone can suggest?While I am at it, I also notice now that on most a/c when I cycle the "S" key, when the 2D cockpit view comes up there is no panel, unless I select "views" and "instrument panel" and then "master" etc every time from the menu bar. Any ideas how to reset this?I have selected "re-set defaults" on the controllers/assignments page but this didn't fix the problem.

What happens if you re-name FS9.cfg to FS9.cfg.bak and start Flightsim?It should rebuild the FS9.cfg file with the default settings.If you do not like the outcome, you can delete the new FS9.cfg and name your bak copy to FS9.cfg again...
