ATC doesn't recongize PMDG 777 as a boeing 777...?

Featured Replies

Quick question.. ATC doesn't recongize the PMDG 777 and a boeing 777.. It just says Boeing.. Is there a way to make atc recongize it as a boeing 777 instead of just atc saying boeing..?

In the aircraft.cfg.... in the [General] section... change "atc_model=B77L" to "atc_model=777"

That should fix it.

Unless you have an EZDOK profile for the PMDG 777, that will cause you to have to create a new EZDOK profile. If you have EZDOK and are familiar with EditVoicePackX, here is a link to a better way to fix the ATC issue:

It would be much easier to export your current ezdok configuration to a file, change the ATC type in aircraft.cfg, allow ezdok to create a new profile for that and then import your saved ezdok config.
