Opencockpits MCP power supply?

Featured Replies

Hello.

I just got my Opencockpits MCP v3 delivered yesterday.  However, they forgot to include the power supply with the shipment.  I have an e-mail to them as well, but was wondering in the mean time if anyone that has one of these can tell me or even better yet, show me via a pic, what type of jack it is?  In the manual it shows a pic of what looks to be a standard 3.5mm stereo headphone type jack("male") but all I can find on the web are "female" versions.

Can anyone help me out with a pic of the power supply that came with this unit or one that you know works to power this?  I was thinking I'd just try to get one at Radio Shack or order from Amazon rather than wait for international shipping again.

Thanks!!

Regards,

I found this info in the v 2.0 manual online. This should be enough info to take to Radio Shack or others to get what you need....or, it may be that a powered hub will do the trick.

Yeah, I found that too online(for v3 as well).  I've done searches on the Internet looking for power supplies with that type of jack and haven't found any like that.  They all are a "female" type like this(hopefully you can see the difference in this small pic):

I see what you are saying. If I am reading it correctly, I don't believe you need that if you use a powered usb hub.
