  1. Have you figured this out? I’m having the same issue. Follow all the checklists but can’t get the digital numbers to show on the altimeter nor the outside air temperature gauge.
  2. He's got something coming still with his new job. Sounds like they are ok with him continuing the YouTube/social media thing. His latest video was flying a TBM 960, I believe so maybe he's moving to that?
  3. Yes. This is because Delta is a traditional "hub and spoke" airline. So all of their flights traverse one of their hubs(ATL, DTW, JFK, SLC, MSP). I think Southwest would be a better fit for what you're looking for. Possibly even Frontier and Spirit as well from the airbus side of things.
  4. Here is the system that I have currently in my shopping cart. Can anyone offer any experiences, thoughts, recommendations please? 5. I think this is part of the reason why the world is so polarized. Or at least in the West anyway. In my opinion, it isn't about dumb, reckless, irresponsible, clueless, deadbeats or criminals. As we saw with the mess with the pandemic, each and every one of us has a different tolerance for risk. We are each capable of assessing that on our own. We don't need a government, or the 40 or 50% it sounds like you consider yourself a part of, to tell us what level of risk we can accept or not. So to automatically cast "the others" in this way is not really the right way to view it, in my opinion. Some prefer to live their life as close to inside a safe bubble as possible and never take any risk, never leave their homes. Others would rather launch themselves into space or deep underwater. It's not dumb. It's just what each person is willing to accept when it comes to risk. Just because someone will get in what essentially was a water heater from Home Depot and dive 14,000 down in the ocean or whatever it was doesn't make them stupid. They were just people who were willing to accept that risk.
  6. Check any hardware that you have. Flip all switches and see if it will come on. I just bought this a couple days ago and had the same issue. Found out that there was a button assigned on my Honeycomb Bravo Throttle for Avionics Master on/off. I removed that button assignment and now it works fine.
  7. Amen! How dare you not follow the narrative that the main stream/global elites want you to!!
  8. These are a couple of the examples exactly as to why I don't think she's deserving of her "carrying the torch" status for women's tennis. She is a great player, no doubt. But not a great person again. These two examples along with other times I remember her being not a very good sport about losing. I can remember a time where she was interviewed after losing to Simona Halep, I believe, and she gave no credit to the fact that Simona beat her. It was all excuses but no credit to how her opponent played. That's just one small other example I can think of. Her sister seems to me more deserving than her. As to McEnroe, I never thought he was deserving of "carrying the torch" for men's tennis either, if he was. He was sorta before my time as I didn't start watching tennis until the early '90's.
  9. Absolutely and completely hope she does not win this tournament and goes out soon, without tying for the record! I can't believe that we hold this person up to carry the torch for Women's tennis. She is not at all a class act and completely not deserving of this position. She's good at the game of tennis, yes. But that's about it. When you compare her to the likes of Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal on the Men's side, she isn't even in the same league as far as the caliber of human beings they are and role models. But, yet, our society and the media keep worshipping her like she is. Disgusting!!
  10. I've done some quick internet searching and don't see any liveries for this version for Midwest Airlines. Does anyone know if that livery exists for the FS2020 version?
  11. And then you can do the same thing the rest of us are doing now..."go bonkers" while we wait for it to finally be released. So, I guess you can be glad you're not doing that now. But, in good time, you'll be in the same boat.
  12. Amen! The advocates, main stream media and politicians that promote this don't talk about the complete picture...probably because they know if they did, they just aren't a viable solution right now or any time in the near future. It is cheaper to drive one, yes. But it's way more expensive to buy one. So, you pay $60K for a new Tesla to save $2/per gallon to drive one. Do the math. That's not a win overall.
  13. When the cost of buying an electric car and the practicality of owning one make sense, then maybe people will actually start considering them. Until then, it makes no sense unless you are one of the virtue signalers.
  14. I don't think any are truly "fully working", are they? In any version of any sim. 😜
  15. I am using it. It works mostly well. I say “mostly” because my only complaint would be that there are occasional strips where, for some reason, the ugly land class scenery peeks thru. I don’t know why that happens but it does. Other than that, it’s more or less point and click. Add on top of that, you can use it with scenproc so that it will generate 3d buildings/vegetation based on OSM data on top of the photoreal so you’re not in just a completely flat world. Overall, it’s great and way faster/easier than fsearth tiles.
  16. No. This is not possible. They are two different ways of showing scenery. However, you can get what you are looking for if you want to do some work. You can check out Ortho4XP for P3D/FSX and use that. It will generate photorealistic tiles and, based on OSM data, add 3d buildings and vegetation to those tiles. This is the "easiest" way though still requires some work on your part. You can also use the annotator tool that comes with the SDK and manually annotate the scenery yourself. A much more manual process that you'd only want to do for small areas, like immediately around an airport.
  17. Truer words were never spoken. This and just flat out lying on top of it!!
  18. Because that is(with few exceptions i.e. Dell offering Ubuntu) the only choice of an OS when buying a PC. NOT because it is a great OS or that 1 billion MS users chose MS. I'm not necessarily trying to bash MS here. All the big tech companies have their pluses and minuses. But I just don't agree that users prefer or chose MS. Some do and some love MS. But, a good percentage of those billion users also had no choice in the matter.
  19. This can happen if you fly near a payware scenery that has to "load in". FSL doesn't handle the long pause of scenery loading well. That's when I get a disconnect. Even flying at cruise level. If I fly over a payware airport that causes a long pause while loading, the AP will disconnect.
  20. Bert should get at least 50% royalties from Carenado. If it weren't for his work, their aircraft really would just be pretty flying pixels. Thank you for all your hard work and help to all of us here!!! Truly one of the best in this community!!
  21. Just because Carenado is the only “game in town” for any particular aircraft doesn’t make it good. If it fits your needs, great! Consider yourself lucky that the little things don’t matter to you. For me, I want to know that an aircraft I’m flying in my virtual world replicates the real thing as close to is humanly possible in a simulation. Does that mean that the likes of FSLabs or PMDG are EXACTLY spot on themselves? No. Absolutely not! But I trust that they are a heck of a lot closer and more capable to do so than Carenado by a LONG SHOT!!! And that matters to me! As to the have I flown the real thing argument? No, like 99% of us on here, we are all pretending. Most of us here have never flown a real airplane ourselves. Instead, We are all putting our trust in said developers to give us the closest representation to the real thing as possible. And, as is evidence by the overwhelming statements about this not working and that not working about any Carenado product and them requiring work from people here to fix their bugs to get them at least somewhat better, I have NO trust in Carenado to deliver on that! As has been stated many times before too, they are pretty pixels that just fly in the most basic sense. So it all comes down to TRUST. Flying every airplane in real life to compare is not possible.
  22. As already stated, that is exactly why. It takes way longer to develop a quality aircraft(FSLabs, PMDG) then it does to create one that simply flies but no where close to how the real thing would(Carenado). If all you care about is that it looks like the actual plane, Carenado is probably good enough. But if you expect the buttons and controls in the airplane to act like they would in real life, then you have to wait for that(and pay some more money).
  23. Thanks. I was thinking of Flight Sim World. I never owned that but wasn't it an FSX variant that was 64-bit?
  24. Ok, my mistake. I stand corrected. Then exactly what Dave said...definitely make sure to not just enable a large amount of photoreal scenery. For example, if you bought all the MSE for the entire US and tried to enable it all at once, you probably wouldn't even be able to launch the sim. This is due to the fact that ANY photoreal scenery that is enabled in your scenery library will load. No matter how far away it is from you.
