I have a camera from this position... Pretty much for any and every aircraft! I usually remove all EZDOK views in any aircraft.cfg

 

But I am unable to get rid of this.

I want to permanently remove this (with extreme prejudice) or at the worse case how I can I modify this to something that remotely  has some utility?

 

 

 

Hopefully if I can modify it, I want to do it once and then onwards that would work for all aircrafts I have now and I may get in the future. Every time I see this view.. My blood pressure shoots up.

If you use EZCA, you must have this EZCA entry in each aircraft.cfg or it won't work properly. This is how EZCA works! when you run the "ezca cfg" app it will add this entry to each aircraft.

 

Then, when you change views in EZCA, it will do it all on this one entry. EZCA hacks the memory to modify that entry on-the-fly. That's the "magic" of EZCA.

 

As a side note, I did notice that sometimes the stock camera definitions collide with how EZCA work and cause a malfunction. In that case, I just delete the stock views entirely and the problem is solved.

But I don;'t have clashing views with standard views.. I am totally contended with the FSX Views I don't care for any other views

 

If I have to have one EZDOK view...then why does it have to be this CRAP VIEW? Can I change the position of camera in that CRAP VIEW to be somewhere else?

If you're content with the standard views, then why do you have EZCA installed? I don't get this upside down logic. You can basically open the ezca config app and hit "restore". It will remove all the universal ezca entries from your aircraft cfg files.

I love the EZDOK VC Head movement... Thats the only thing I need from EZDOCK I don't care for anything else! I find EZDOK to be so cryptic..even the Menu is built for hackers... Not built for normal people.. and I have a Masters degree in Software Engineering.  I have found hackers do havoc for corporations..they tend to hijack a corporate  application...  with this kind of software engineering principles.. where no one can function without them...  Anyway..I don't want to go there..

 

Now why would they have menu buttons with PTP, MD, RXP, CHK ML and crap like that?  I have 3 monitors with 24" X 3 ..are they afraid some Simmers are going to run out  real estate on their screen to display their Menus? This kind off thinking is anachronistic in the IT World. . IT is so unintuitive... no thought has gone into this.. IMO.    Whelp anyway..I have cursed EZDOK enough here for the last 5 years.  

 

I just want to modify that MANDATORY CAMERA view I have to live through as a blood payment for the wonderful head latency VC thingi.  

Ok, so you must keep that entry or EZCA won't work. I've now figured that you probably don't know how to use EZCA. You have to setup a VC camera within EZCA and then, each time you load the aircraft it will auto-start with that view. Only when you don't setup a camera, it will auto start with this "broken" view inside the model. In case you already deleted the ezca entries, run ezca config tool again. I also suggest editing "cameras.cfg" to remove the world cam. That one will corrupt your scenery display if you don't, "courtesy" of ezca author.
