October 12, 201312 yr That Looks fantastic! I was always curious about how photo scenery works. So when you are flying over Photo scenery there is no movement on the ground, right? So no wave animation? no cars. Fixed time of day etc.? it is basically hi-res sat. photo's on a mesh? So when you are close to the grounds the building and other features are flat in the ground?

October 13, 201312 yr Commercial Member Avidean - most of what you say is true. But you do get wave animation on the water, as long as it's been mapped and most waters in the VFR Gen X packaged are, so inland waters have animation too. Default car traffic, assuming it's turned on, still works too and shows through and over the top of the photo scenery, and FSX roads are mapped quite well so in most cases they drive 'over' the actual roads in the photo scenery. And Gen X has night textures/lighting too
October 14, 201312 yr Autogen won't work unless it has been specifically programmed into the photoscenery.
