I need to move the NGX from my old machine to my new one. What's the procedure for doing so regarding licensing and activation etc.?

Just did this a few days ago. Just install your NGX, start FSX and load your NGX when prompted to do so just copy your activation text from the text file (like Notepad) that I assume you created when you first purchased your NGX, paste into the activation dialog and you should be good to go. Providing you have not exceeded your reinstall quota, in which case you will need to send a reactivation ticket off to PMDG.
