October 16, 201312 yr Hey guys, I've recently managed to solve a CTD problem I'd had for years with FSX, enabling me to play the sim properly for the first time since I bought the sim for £60 7 years ago!!! I won't bore you but the fix involved running the sim in windowed mode which also made the sim run as smooth as butter, which was a pleasant surprise for me and my i7. So anyways, With this new stability I am now able to explore ENB to its full potential, but now I am experiencing lower FPS again :( Specifically it's the bloom function that's causing FPS problems. My graphics card is a GTX 550ti with 1GB of memory. Firstly am I right in thinking it's the graphics card that's more likely to be the culprit in this case? Secondly, can anyone recommend me a graphics card that works a treat for them under similar circumstances? I think it's time for an upgrade!
