October 17, 201312 yr I've got my new SSD installed and formatted and have now finished installing FSX Acceleration and the FSX SDK. First aircraft install was the lovely RealAir Beech Duke. I have also installed the DX10fixer which appears to be working correctly (all options available for configuring). Now I've installed it do I need to do anything more with it while I'm installing scenery and other aircraft or will it update each scenery or aircraft to DX10 spec automatically? October 17, 201312 yr Provided all options except the 8-bit fix were ticked/enabled/slid in the Controller, Adam you should be good to go. Any time an effect is added (from a scenery install, for eg) the Fixer will pop up and request you rescan the Effects folder, and of course - you will say "yes"....ok! October 17, 201312 yr Hi Paul, I never saw a pop up, I had to execut the fixer, then it tell me to do a scan. So, there is a special way to setup this pop up automatically without execute the program ? Thanks Michel
October 17, 201312 yr You didn't see any special pop-up, Michel, because it scanned the first time when you installed it - that was the popup! If you, say - install the new EGML Damyn's Hall airfield from Orbx - just open the Controller after the installation, and the popup will happen - ok!
