October 18, 201312 yr I've been using all the free bits from Steve ( with great help from Paul J; many thanks Paul ) and I've sorted my fsx.cfg and nVidia Inspector stuff but now I'd like to start over with the payware fixer. What do I need to delete etc. to start fresh? If this has all been posted before, my apologies and please point me to the link. Thank you Regards Symon

Thank you Regards Symon I think you need to reinstall the original Shader folder, but there is mention of what you need to do in either the DX10 forum, or the DX10 Fixer forum. I do remember reading a thread(s) on this by other posters.
October 18, 201312 yr Yes - I would delete the patched ShadersHLSL folder first, (replacing it with this one, or your backed-up one), along with the Shaders10 cache folder in :- C:\Users\[ your username here }\AppData\Local\Microsoft\FSX\ OK! (Thanks, Mitch!) October 18, 201312 yr Author Thank you both. I assume then I delete the existing fsx.cfg for fsx to rebuild - yes? so starting from scratch.
October 18, 201312 yr Thank you both. I assume then I delete the existing fsx.cfg for fsx to rebuild - yes? so starting from scratch. I'm not sure if you have to be that drastic...but I surely would create a desktop copy of your existing .cfg file, so you can then delete, have it rebuild, but then...have the option to A/B compare the new with the old to see if you want to transfer over any entries to the new rebuilt. Just a suggestion.....
