A2A 3D lights Redux and DX10

Featured Replies

I am thinking of buying a2a 3d lights, I have enabled dx10 and have Steve's fixer.

I primarily fly pmdg 777, level-d 767 and pmdg 747 (occasionally)

Is it worth buying the lights, will I see an improvement ?

Thanks... Hari

Hi Hari: They may improve any aircraft where the lights are configured in the aircraft.cfg, as here with the default C172, for e.g. The landing light is excellent.

[LIGHTS]
//Types: 1=beacon, 2=strobe, 3=navigation, 4=cockpit
light.0 = 3,  -2.76, -18.11, 2.97, fx_navred
light.1 = 3,  -2.78,  18.11, 2.95, fx_navgre
light.2 = 2,  -3.13, -18.31, 2.95, fx_strobe
light.3 = 2,  -3.11,  18.31, 2.95, fx_strobe
light.4 = 1, -20.51,   0.00, 6.20, fx_beacon
light.5 = 4,  -2.27,   0.00, 1.45, fx_vclight
light.6 = 5, -2.0, -9.2, 2.5,  fx_Shockwave_landing_light // Shockwave light

..but it can be a chore if you want to, or have to change a number of aircraft manually. A2A has a good forum, with lots of manual "how-to" instructions, and specs for hundreds of aircraft.
