  1. Hi, I have ordered a LG 34" 2560x1080 monitor, to be driven by a ASUS GTX 970 strix gpu. Someone who already has this resolution able to post a screenshot of their VC ?. I would like to see what kind of VC coverage is available with a 0.60 zoom. Thanks
  2. Hi , I was using FSX at 1920x1080, on a gtx 970 and a 24" monitor with a Max resolution of 1920x1080. Then I read about DSR with nvidia cards, and I set it to 1.7x, and set it up for 2560x1440 in windows and also is the display settings of fsx. I.e. 2560x1440x32. However, when I now look at the VC view of the 777-300ER. Don't see any difference, it looks just lime how it was ezrlier, I was expecting to see a wider image, as in with a .6 zoom was hoping to see more of the FO side squeezed into the view. What am I doing wrong ?. Or have I got or understood DSR incorrectly. Thanks in advance.
  3. Hi All, I primarily fly the 777-300ER, will also get the 747 v2 when it is released. I want to upgrade my monitor, I will be using a single display. I am thinking something in between 29" to 34". What would be the best resolution, I am hoping to go either 2560x1080 or 4k. any advise on screen size and resolution is much appreciated. Thanks
  4. Thanks David and Gerald. Will download and install them all. I plan to change the FO's, mechanics and flight attendants to bring a bit of variety on the flight...
  5. Hi, Just wondering if there are any voice packs with different accents from around the world , especially FO and Mechanic.
  6. Gerald - I don't get this call out on pmdg 777-300ER.
  7. Hi All, I currently have a single 24" monitor. The issue I have is that when I am on full screen mode in FSX, if I want to toggle to vpilot I need to come out of full screen mode and then click vpilot from the task bar. It would be easy if we can set a hot key to make vpilot pop up, is that possible ?. Thanks
  8. Yeah.... I want to disable the default cones, but keep the choks... Is it not possible ?.
  9. Hi, I have the pmdg 777-300ER. GSX adds the cones near wings and the engine. I would like to hide the default cones when choks are in place. Is that possible?. Thanks
  10. Hi, My specs are in my signature. My PC is a bit dated, but recently upgraded to a gtx 970. I currently have a single 24" 1920x1080 monitor, and get an average 20fps without any stutter, in pmdg 777 and most pay ware airports. I am planning to go to a dual monitor another 24" (1920x1080) setup for virtual cockpit, I would like to know. A. How do I set it up? B. Will there be a fps drop or stutter by going to dual monitor on my PC setup. Thanks so much... hoping to get a view before buying another monitor.
  11. Hi, I want to assign the GSX pushback to a joystick button. It involves a push of keystrokes, I do have fsuipc, how can a sequence of keystrokes be assigned to a joystick button. In the menu fsuipc, I can assign two key strokes, one one press and other on release. That's all. But I need about 5 keystrokes at the press of a joystick button. How can this be achieved ? Thanks
  12. I found out that simserver should be run, right after the aircraft is loaded. Before vpilot or McFadden etc is run. That's just in my case... Now I load my pmdg 777, and straight away run simserver and it works... Hope the above helps... I found out that simserver should be run, right after the aircraft is loaded. Never noticed this before. All the rain we have been having in Sydney lately made me notice it I guess.

Hi, I have this weird effect while in cruise. If I take off from an airport that had rain, while in cruise I can see the water effect underneath the aircraft. Like what you get when wheels go over a wet runway or taxiway. Is anyone else seeing this ?.
  15. Hi, I want to edit a couple of checklists for the pmdg 777. How do I go about it ?. Which folder/files do I need to edit?. Also the pre flight checklist for the oxygen.... the FO refuses to acknowledge response and keeps repeating the item. Thanks
  16. Hi.... Is there an application that would allow updating ZFW and Fuel from a laptop connected to the FSX machine via fsuipc/widefs ?
  17. Will the 6600k OC as well as the 6700k ?, like to maybe 4.5 or 4.6 GHz ?.
  18. Thanks ... it is clear now....
  19. I fly mostly the PMDG 777-300ER and the default planes. I also have REX Soft Clouds. Should I set my texture_Max_load= 1024 ?. Does the 777 have any 2048 or 4096 textures ?.
  20. Is this FAX, p3d or x-plane?
  21. Yeah - this machine is purely for FSX. Maybe P3D, if they go 64bit.
  22. Hi - I am about to embark on this exercise, anything I should avoid ?. Or do right. I plan to move the two ssd's to the new rig, get everything working and then upgrade the ssd's to faster, higher capacity.
  23. Hi, Just. Wanted to get an opinion on if I should get the latest i5 or i7. The build will be used purely for FSX. I have read multi threading does not offer performance improvement, and a lot of OC's have it disabled. The motherboard will be gigabyte gaming 7 (open to a recommendation on that too), and I would also look to over clock the CPU. In that respect, which CPU would offer the best over clock. I would like to get your views before committing to the purchase. Thanks
