October 22, 201312 yr Does anyone know if LM has fixed the 180-deg wind shift bug that has been present in every version of MSFS since FS2000? In each FS release, Pete Dowson has had to do his magic with FSUIPC to get control over winds that seemingly randomly shift 180 degrees. Is that behavior still present in P3D? October 22, 201312 yr I don't have time to find the quotes, but this was talked about a while back on their forums. The gist of it made it sound like they had fixed this, along with a several other bugs within the weather system. I think this bug was specifically mentioned. Also, Active Sky Next is being made for P3D 2.0 and claims to have eliminated this issue. So that may speak to it being fixed at the core level since supposedly there was never a way to fix this issue in FSX and never would be.

The same thing used to correct or lesson the effect in FSx can be used in P3D. Now, V2, no idea.
