PMDG Express Beechcraft 1900C

Hello,

I was wondering if PMDG Express Beechcraft 1900C works with FSX Version, and what does it mean when they say FS9 is it considered FSX or FS 2004?

and my last question is it good idea to pay for it and buy it or not?

I have the B1900C in FSX.  It is a port over from FS9 (aka FS2004).  As a port over, it does have an issue with the prop discs when viewed from the exterior.  Clouds and some autogen will disappear when viewed through the prop disc.  Many systems are not modeled and the virtual cockpit is passable, but I find it rather limited in function and visual quality.  Check out the stock FSX Beech 350 King Air virtual cockpit, the PMDG Express B1900 virtual cockpit offers the exact same features and systems modeling with the addition of a Garmin GPS 500 and it is highly uncommon to see a Garmin 500 in a real B1900.

I was really hoping that PMDG would make a new, FSX native B1900, but so far they have not indicated any intention of doing such.  Carenado announced they were doing a B1900D and posted some early work screen shots, but no mention of it since.

Carenado's 1900 is coming along quite nicely, every so often they post updates on their incoming projects page and they have quite a few recent screenshots of it.

I am interested to see what Carenado does with the 1900.  A 1900C cargo version would be great.  I prefer to haul cargo as I already know that some of my landings are bouncy and bumpy and I don't need a dozen or so passengers telling me about it.  I've looked at Carenado's recent pics of their 1900D.  The panel looks to be something from a recently overhauled corporate/executive 1900D.  B1900's did not leave the factory with Garmin 400 or 500 series GPS units, if they had a GPS it was generally a Bendix-King 90 series.  Still, I'm watching the progress.
