Please could you clarify a few details before I proceed with this.

 

I have not tried DX10 preview yet.

 

I have made various tweaks to the FSX.CFG such as those recommended in the document "FSX Performance Tips and tweaks"

 

If I installed this software would this undo all these tweaks or would I need to put all these tweaks back afterwards'

 

A friend said that once installed it can be undone by the click of a button. In this case would my FSX.CFG go back to what it was prior to installing DX10 fixer.

 

I think part of my uncertainty is that I can't find any details about this software and I want to be sure this will not upset my system.

The answer to your first question is no and to the second yes.

 

Perhaps if you have another question you could please add it to one of the two
